1. Educational Purpose Only

Prosivo is an educational platform exclusively designed for medical students and healthcare trainees to practice clinical reasoning skills. Prosivo is NOT a medical device, diagnostic tool, or clinical decision support system for real patient care.

All clinical cases presented within Prosivo are synthetic, fictional, and created solely for educational purposes. They do not represent real patients, and any resemblance to actual persons is coincidental.

2. Prohibited Use of Protected Health Information (PHI)

You must NEVER enter real patient information into Prosivo. This includes but is not limited to:

• Patient names or initials
• Medical record numbers (MRNs)
• Social Security numbers
• Dates of birth or admission dates
• Phone numbers, addresses, or email addresses
• Any other information that could identify a real patient

Prosivo employs automated detection systems to identify potential PHI. If PHI is detected, the input will be blocked and not processed. However, you remain solely responsible for ensuring no real patient data is entered.

By using Prosivo, you agree to comply with all applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) in the United States and equivalent regulations in your jurisdiction.

3. AI Limitations and Disclaimers

Prosivo uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate educational content and provide feedback. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI can make errors. The AI may produce incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information. All AI-generated content should be critically evaluated and verified against authoritative medical sources.
• AI is not a substitute for medical education. Prosivo supplements but does not replace formal medical training, textbooks, clinical rotations, or supervision by qualified instructors.
• AI responses are not medical advice. Nothing generated by Prosivo constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations for real patients.
• AI may have knowledge limitations. The AI's knowledge has a training cutoff date and may not reflect the most current medical guidelines, research, or best practices.

4. User Responsibilities

By using Prosivo, you agree to:

• Use the platform exclusively for educational purposes
• Never enter real patient information or PHI
• Not rely on Prosivo for actual clinical decision-making
• Verify all information against authoritative medical sources
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Not share, resell, or redistribute Prosivo content without authorization
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions
• Not use automated tools to scrape or extract content

5. Account and Subscription

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Prosivo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Paid subscriptions are billed according to the plan selected. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and materials on Prosivo are owned by Prosivo Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

Educational case content you interact with is licensed for your personal educational use only and may not be reproduced or shared externally.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROSIVO AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content
• Any decisions made based on information from Prosivo
• Any harm resulting from unauthorized use of PHI that you entered
• Service interruptions, data loss, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Prosivo services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

PROSIVO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that Prosivo will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Prosivo and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
